Hat challenges!!

The hat challenge is really fun! We all did really well and now we are making our real hats im in the team Dalys Delights after Tom Daly and our category is UK heritage! My hat design is a teacup with the Queen on it and some digestives,mmmmm!!!

Today we have been set a challenge of making as many different prototypes of hats as possible.  We scored:

- 5 points for a top hat

- 5 points for a boater

- 5 points for a bonnet

- 3 points for a skull cap (made with Mrs Wege)

- 1 point for any other design

The teams with the most points won the medals for this challenge. 

Miss Leaman was really pleased with our team work during this lesson, we have got so much better at communicating with each other.

Literacy!!!

Wow being the oldest in school is amazing!!!! I didnt know i would be till i thought about it!!! Anyway my literacy is amazing

(as always!!!) my favourite piece of work was my sun poem i did it with Bracken its AMAZING!!!

Maths!!!

Maths is really easy at the moment because im in red group ive been adding 5 digit numbers to 5 digit numbers!!! Its easy!

This Term

This term Major Stare has set us some challenges.  We are trying to pass the challenges and ‘pass out’ into the Watcombe Forces.  Miss Leaman has challenged us to post on this blog about the challenges that we have had to do.  If we do this then she will give us an army point!

The Leavers Assembely

Even though im not leaving I am really looking forward to the Leavers Assembly because the songs are really good and i have to sing them for the year 6s. only because when your dancing you forget to sing so the year 5s are helping with that.

I can’t wait it is going to  be amazing!

The new B1

I am looking forward to being in B1 in september.yesterday we had to make  newspaper clothes in our teams and some body had to wear it!we only had newspaper and masking tape.

I am really exited about being in new B1 and making new friends.

I  was the one who had to wear the paper cloths we made a assasin it was realy amazing we made a sword armer and many more thinks.

but we didn’t win.                                                   I can’t wait until September.

The challenge

The new b1 make a really nice class. at the start of the challenge I thought it was going to be quiet hard but my team just got on with it and it turned out to be a great costume. I will be looking forward to september when I will get to be with this class every day. we only got to use masking tape and newspaper. we had to wrap tom up. I had Tom,max,Josh,Tabitha and me on my team.

The chelenge

Yesterday b1 hade a challenge we had to wrap some body  in news pepper ana masking tape. It was a pretty hard challenge but it was fun is well  in are group we hade: Elliott,tom ,max and Tabitha

I wish I could  be in b1 now.

Newpaper challange!

On Wednesday th new b1 had to make some clothes out of newspaper and masking tape. we worked in groups in my group there was me ,Charlie , Leroy and Zane. We decided that Charlie was going to be the one Wareing the clothes. We all thought that we worked well as a team.
